You can also just hang out
We have a talented community of English-speaking performers who are local to Buenos Aires, visitors, etc. Legally Funny is a great way to discover both local and visiting creatives, meet new friends, or have good food.
Here’s an Eventbrite link where you can get a free ticket. Our venue, Miss Venezuela Teatro Bar also has a delicious menu and has many vegan/vegetarian options.
Entry is free and there’s an optional tip at the end.
Additional announcements:
A few weeks ago Legally Funny did a fundraiser show for Noah, a two-year-old boy from Lanús who has a brain injury as a result of medical negligence. His parents are still raising funds for his medical bills. You can follow their story here. Can’t donate? Sharing their posts on IG is helpful too!
Fesjaja is coming to Buenos Aires. It’s a great opportunity to check out local talent and watch live shows from visiting comedians. All shows are at Paseo La Plaza and in Spanish. They’re hosting comedy open mics you can sign up for here. (Note: they’re running their shows using the Argentinian production style. Signing up doesn’t mean you can just show up. They’ll contact you if they want you to participate and there are no guarantees. Legally Funny isn’t affiliated with this festival in any way but it’s a good opportunity for Spanish speakers to do some comedy at Paseo La Plaza, so please contact the organizers if you have any questions).
See you all on May 21, 2026 at 21:30.
Warmly,
