Info for performers
10 slots
7 minutes per performer
You may perform: standup comedy, improv (4 people on stage max), spoken word, poetry, or character work.
Music rules: acoustic instruments only or YouTube tracks. We don’t mess with cables here due to lack of technical expertise and time constraints. Thank you for understanding!
This open mic is open to all experience levels and is a supportive space for anyone who is working on their jokes, poetry, and artistry.

Announcements
Our March 31 open mic includes a featured guest: Liakatbir Singh. You can follow him on Instagram. Singh is an Indian comedian currently living in Frankfurt, Germany. He was a TV anchor for 6 years in Jalandhar, India and has participated in Standup Europe Comedy Festival, Impact Fest Warsaw, and more. According to Singh, his comedy deals with “cultural mixups and life’s weird moments.”
Legally Funny’s showcase (every 2 months on a Thursday) is still happening. The next one is on April 16 and it will be a charity show. We’re fundraising for Noah, an Argentinian 2-year-old boy whose parents are saving up to get him physical therapy for a traumatic brain injury. Noah’s family are pursuing this treatment in Monterrey, Mexico. It’ll cost them approximately US$5,000-$7,000 and all proceeds will go directly to Noah’s parents, Silvana and Diego.
